January 2019, rushing in to help, as a nurse, I knew just what to do.  When the ambulance came and took him, I was right by his side.  Final news – your son had a massive seizure; he lost a large portion of his brain and he cannot talk or walk anymore.  He will have to relearn those tasks.  Even with all my training as a nurse and helping others, the tables had turned, and my family was on the other side of very challenging news.  As a mother, my heart sunk.

Meet my son, Sam. He is a fun-loving bundle of energy and, while experiencing learning and mobility challenges, is recovering.  Today, we are overjoyed that he is walking and functioning better.

As my family has been on this journey, we’ve had our challenges along the way.  This is the birthing ground of SAmerica. The "S" and the "A" are capital because of how important Sam AND America are to me. We are a company dedicated to helping families overcome the challenges of life and transition into better circumstances.

 

Aside from taking care of Sam and becoming a realtor of PA, I am a mother of three who decided to team up with people who also care about “making families matter”.
